Position: Quality Control Technician
Location: Qatar
Job Responsibilities:
• Monitor and record Brix, CO2 and acidity (TA), as required and make proper adjustments as necessary, to ensure product quality within Pepsi specifications. Run proportioning equipment and maintain accurate records. Maintain a water-treatment system to Pepsi specifications. Adhere to safety programs and service commitments. Responsible for the water treatment section. Perform & evaluate test results of packaging materials (such as double seaming of cans; PET performs; Closure removal torque tests etc). Perform micro biological tests on water, syrup, beverage, etc. Monitor finished product (packaging integrity/date coding, etc) Calibrate & maintain all testing devices/equipment in good operating condition as per procedure. Verify PI concentrate shipment upon arrival and the formulae coding of each product for conformity. Ensure proper housekeeping in the plant, water treatment plant, syrup room and other areas, wherever applicable.
Qualifications:
• Chemistry Degree holder
• With a minimum of Five years of working experience in a soft drink production facility, in a similar position.
• Good understanding of production process such as water treatment, syrup preparation, beverage mixing etc
