Requirements:
- Responsible primarily for product & process yields and scrap, establish and implement corrective actions to improve yield and to reduce scrap
- Support the pilot manufacturing line in the assembly, testing and evaluation of new products
- Qualification of New Test and Assembly Equipment and ensure all equipment are meeting quality, production and reliability requirements
- Responsible to define KPIV, conduct gauge R&R studies, correlation studies, implement and process documentation
- Develop and maintain a systematic debug guide documentation for responsible product areas
- Conduct improvement projects for Product and Manufacturing processes enhancement to reduce scrap
- Perform Failure Analysis on reliability failures and devise corrective actions for long-term quality
- Minimum 5 years experience in a related industry and in a mass production environment
- Strong in theoretical fundamentals of Engineering; ability to correlate theory to applications
- Good knowledge of mechanical dimensioning & tolerancing analysis, poka-yoke principles will be an added advantage
- Good knowledge in BOM maintenance, statistical, quality tools and problem analysis. Knowledge in Lab view Programming and Visual Basic are an added advantage
- Understand basic test methodologies and able to interpret/read electrical schematic and mechanical drawings
- Experience in Optical Test & Measuring instruments (such as DCA, Optical Power meters, Optical Spectrum Analyzers etc)
- Analytical, results oriented, aggressive, excellent oral and written communication skills, can drive improvement programs/projects, has integrity and with good interpersonal skills
- Knowledgeable in process development techniques using DOE and statistical analysis of experimental data
