1. Job Title: IT, Communication and Automation Superintendent
Location: Australia – New Caledonia
Requirements:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience (It systems, Communication Hardware, ABB DCS installation)
- Technical diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering Discipline or equivalent experience;
- Can demonstrate a HSEC focus in construction phase of project delivery;
- Strong technical knowledge of IT equipment and hardware;
- Strong technical knowledge of Fibre optic termination methods;
- Strong technical knowledge of communication cabling for DCS systems;
- Strong technical knowledge of instrumentation communication protocols and architecture;
- Working knowledge of electrical codes and standards applied on the project and required in the field for installation and testing purposes;
- Proficient in planning and organizing field crews in large Greenfield construction environment including development of field installation work packages;
- Knowledge of a single or multi-discipline construction operation relating to field activities of engineering disciplines, construction technologies, and jobsite supervisory functions;
- Strong leadership skills, the ability to direct and supervise contractors, and fit into a team environment;
- Knowledge of the tools of the trade to assist and overview local labour force in undertaking specialized tasks within his discipline;
- Proficient PC skills including a working knowledge of MS office suite, and scheduling software;
- The ability to manage, review & interpret data received from engineering, contractors, and vendors;
- Effective leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, planning and organizational skills for managing multiple tasks;
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines, and work in a fast paced environment;
- Fluent English speaking.
Responsibilities:
- General Accountability
- Reporting to the Construction Coordinator-Mechanical and Electrical, the IT, Communication and Automation Superintendent is responsible to ensure that the works under his/her supervision are carried out in strict compliance with the site HSE requirements, the quality, technical, financial and schedule requirements of the scope of work and sound construction practices.
- The Superintendent is responsible on-site installation construction activities in compliance with approved construction execution plan consistent with delivery of the project objectives. The Superintendent focuses as much as practical on the work within his discipline and his area.
- The incumbent will work in close cooperation with all members of the integrated project team (Hatch, Technip and KNS personnel) to achieve the performance and cost objectives as defined for the area within the project’s business case.
- Nature and Scope
- The IT, Communication and Automation Superintendent supports the Area Construction Manager to develop and deliver the project business case for the assigned area through application of professional project management practices and skills for all construction activities and provides exceptions reporting to the Construction Coordinator-Mechanical and Electrical as required.
- The incumbent must have technical knowledge along with health and safety, quality, construction and contract management experience to work within the area or the given scope. The position requires substantial influence and good communications skills. The incumbent must have experience, skills and ability to work with a diverse group of professional personnel and cultures.
2. Job Title: Senior IT Analyst
Location: Singapore
Salary: SGD 4500 – 5500
Responsibilities:
- Works closely with eBusiness & Sales & Marketing function customers to identify business and software requirements.
- Manage discovery, development process and ensure completion of all project documentation requirements as per SDLC process.
- Responsible for designing, developing, modifying and evaluating programs for functional areas of web content management for both external and internal portal.
- Possess excellent verbal, written communication skills in English as well as presentation skills and ability to co-ordinate deliverables and dependencies with other groups. Be a team player and have experiences working with virtual team across the globe.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree, Master in IT or Computer Science.
- Distinct advantage for candidate with Sun Certified Developer certification.
- Knowledge of Vignette Content Mgt software is a MUST.
- Minimum 3-5 years of IT hands-on experience as System Analyst in a application development environment under J2EE framework.
- Preference for candidate who has worked in areas of content management and www.
- Sound knowledge and good working experience with Weblogic, Oracle DB and SQL is a must.
