Job Title: Cost and Schedule Engineer

Requirements:
• Must have a Post Graduate Diploma / Master’s
• College degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or relevant
• At least 3-5 years of working experience in cost and schedule engineering and control, preferably in the oil & gas/chemical/manufacturing industry in the related field
• Must be 25 – 45 years old
• Exposure to significant process plant engineering activities, with an emphasis on cost engineering, preferably at a contractor’s office
• Knowledge of project management fundamentals, front-end engineering and the relevant skills in project planning, estimation and scheduling as well as design tools is an advantage
• Knowledge of basic computing tools and the ability to learn new software quickly
• Aptitude for other aspects of project development and execution, such as engineering and procurement/contract engineering/project management
• Able to provide support for multiple projects simultaneously
• An effective team player with excellent technical, troubleshooting, organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in the English language
Responsibilities:
• Develop cost estimates and project schedules, as well as implement cost control procedures for projects in Singapore and other Asia Pacific locations
• Interface with the business and project teams, specialists and vendors to ensure the quality of estimates
• Develop and maintain the local estimation tools and cost data
• Assist in developing cost engineering tools for our global establishments
• Establish cost control procedures that are consistent with project requirements
• Provide leadership direction in cost control of projects executed with our “alliance” contractors
• Provide low-cost alternatives and simplifications to implement low-cost capital projects
